Classroom Tools
We use various online tools in class. Some of the tools will require an account, some will not.
Required Tools
myPLTW - Built using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), all Truman PLTW students will use this site to access class materials. PowerSchool - The official gradebook for SJSD. Parents and students can access this to see their current grades on work. If this is your first time using the site, parents should register for an account. Google Drive - You already have a Google account using your student email. For group assignments, this can be a great way to create digital work that everyone in the group can work on at the same time. |
Other Tools
LinoIt - This tool allows you to make a virtual bulletin board. Aurasma - Aurasma is an augmented reality tool. Download the app and search for my account (Mythbadger). Then follow the public feed to be able to scan any "Auras" that I have created for class use (they will have a small purple Aurasma logo next to things you can scan). |

Chromebook Tools
Here are some useful tools that you can use on your Chromebook. If you find another one that you feel is helpful, let me know.
Colorzilla - This will add a tool to your browser that allows you to select any color visible on your screen and it will tell you the HEX code or RGB values for that color. Find a color you like and match that color in your own work.
