The menu is built in layers. Each item is clickable, but some will have a drop-down menu when you point to them. There are two pages many students use more than any other: the Daily Agenda and the Work is Done page. The second one is found under Resources menu.
As a parent, the Daily Agenda is a gold mine of information. Every day it gets updated with what students should be doing in class, identified by grade. Days are marked as either a Gold or Blue Day to help students avoid looking at the wrong days. The Work in Done page is for when students finish everything on the Daily Agenda. Everything on the list is personally chosen by me because it can be connected to what we learn in either 7th or 8th grade PLTW. Note the items at the top of the page that say missing work is to be completed first. Students sometimes say they have it turned in, but have forgotten to submit their work. It would be the same as writing an email, but never hitting send. We are working on improving this in my class.
Some additional pages that could be useful. Under the Classes menu is information about each grade including the objectives, and a separate page of resources for each unit. The Resources tab has a list of digital tools we used in class. The Help tab has some information to help both parents and students. Feel free to explore the site to see everything it has available. If you want more, check out the bottom of the About the Teacher page to follow classroom social media accounts. I try to share examples of student work, news, and school events. Student photos are shared according to the school's photography release policy signed by parents earlier in the year. I try my best to meet the requests of parents who do not want their child's image displayed based on the most recent list provided to me.

At the bottom of the About the Teacher page amongst the media icons for my teacher accounts shown above. Feel free to see how I use social media in the classroom. A button to send me an email is on both the "About the Teacher" page and the homepage. Please contact me if you ever have any questions. This site is slowly expanding so if there is something that you would find helpful, I welcome the idea.
